Greetings from the road!
In 2009 we contributed
thousands of miles on Million Mile Monday by riding through all
6 states in Region 7! This year, I’ve switched things up a
bit:
For 2010, I plan on
riding from Wabash Valley Harley-Davidson in Terre Haute, IN to
Jamestown H-D in Falconer, NY. Regional Manager Dan Mattias
will be starting his journey near Boston and meeting us at our
destination!
Gas stops will be short,
saddle time will be long. Rain or shine, we’ll put on about 560
miles. There will be a short lunch stop at A.D. Farrow’s
Northstar H-D in Sunbury, OH courtesy of the Columbus Chapter
and Farrow’s. Last year, members from the area joined us for
lunch or just stopped by to wish us well.
If you’re riding along on this
epic open-road journey, show up with an empty bladder and a full
tank because we’re launching at 7:00 a.m. sharp!
If obligations don’t let you
ride all day, you can join us for a cup of coffee in Terre Haute
and send us off in style. Or, if you’re near Sunbury, OH at
about noon, come on by to say hello over a quick lunch. Upon
landing at Jamestown H-D (about 5:00 p.m.) we’ll be greeted by
other bikers for food and refreshments. Computers will be
online so we can input our miles to be counted toward our 5
million mile goal at
members.hog.com!
