ABOUT US

The Northeast Chapter of HOG® was formed in 1989 with just a handful of members. Our Chapter was formed because Harley® riders wanted to meet other Harley® riders, and ride. Since then our Chapter has become what it is because of our love for motorcycling, family and friends. For that we got to meet and become friends with the best kind of people there is, Harley® Riders. Our membership has grown and is now approaching 300. We are a Riding Chapter. We bought them to ride, and that’s what we do. Ride with HOG® and the Northeast Chapter and enjoy the experience of a lifetime.

The purpose of the Northeast Chapter of HOG® is to promote responsible motorcycling

activities for Harley Owners Group® members by conducting chapter activities and encouraging participation in other HOG® events. Just as is national HOG® activities, chapter activities shall be conducted in a manner consistent with a family-oriented, nonpolitical philosophy.

All membership dues that are collected by Northeast Chapter of HOG® are used to fund the newsletter, as well as, various chapter activities. Should you have any questions, please come to one of our meetings. The great thing about chapter activities is how much they reflect the passions and personalities of our chapter members.

Here are some quick peeks at some of the types of activities our chapter is involved in. This is only a sampling of the types of events that the chapter offers.

• Monthly meetings: Have a great time with your Harley® brothers and sisters while getting the latest chapter news.

• Rides: Short rides or long rides, making memories and stories to tell.

• Dinner rides: Ride to eat. Get the picture?

• Holiday events: Parties or group visits – all kinds of holiday fun.

• Annual Picnic: Fun in the sun!

• Safe Rider Programs: If you are a new rider or a seasoned one it is always wise to refresh yourself with the skills of safe riding.

• Charity events: Doing some good while having a great time.

• Parades: A great way to show your Harley® Pride and give your local community something to roar about.

• Volunteering: Volunteering for activities and events is what brings our chapter together.
